Addicted to Sheet Music
So to end the year off and start a new year, I thought I'd show you a couple of thrifting/crafting finds I've scored lately. I've been on a roll!
Found that tiny ironstone creamer for less than $1 at Goodwill this week. Covered my barn star in music from an old hymnal sometime before Christmas. I love decoupage...and sheet music.
Made this book wreath before Christmas, out of pages from the hymnal. Found that old window at an antique store for 50% off - SCORE! Mini doily from Goodwill. I love mini doilies, perfect for many things.
Went thrifting with a friend this past Thursday and found ribbon, mini doilies, and an old wood embroidery hoop all for $2.00. Used those items to make this wreath today...out of music pages from the hymnal.
I love homemade objects of beauty. Love my rustic cottage look, still wishing it was a farmhouse...sigh...a gal's gotta have a dream, right?
Happy New Year! Hope you have a year filled with love, laughter, and all things crafty and thrifty!
What We're Memorizing This Month
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. 17 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. 19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I can envision your crew in a farm house...too clearly! The cats playing with a mouse in the house, the Connor and Lauren screaming "Ewww!" and Kimberly and Brandon edging each other out of the way for a better look! ;) Great job on your projects!
